Man Found Dead Under Farm Tractor
Joe Schhichte aged 50 a former resident three miles southwest of Granville was found dead under a tractor Monday after apparently suffering a heart attack. He plant corn and was discovered by family near a standing tractor. Survivors include his widow and nine children Gregiay Clifford Odelo Loi taine Bernard Patrich Charlotte Ruth Ann Mary Jo and one grandson. Summer School For Children At Westmar College
Westmar College offers a six week summer activity program for children from Le Mars and surrounding areas June 2 to July 24. Enrollment is limited to fifty pupils with eligibility for grades one to three and a limited number of seats for grades four to six on principal Crille Nrehen’s recommendation. Program emphasizes reading and arithmetic with mining games crafts and dramatics plus a daily 9:15 to 11:30 schedule five days a week in Koehler Hall.
