Man Found Dead Under Farm Tractor
Joe Schhichte aged 50 a former resident three miles southwest of Granville was found dead under a tractor Monday after apparently suffering a heart attack. He plant corn and was discovered by family near a standing tractor. Summer School For Children At Westmar College
Westmar College offers a six week summer activity program for children from Le Mars and surrounding areas June 2 to July 24. Enrollment is limited to fifty pupils with eligibility for grades one to three and a limited number of seats for grades four to six on principal Crille Nrehen’s recommendation. Program emphasizes reading and arithmetic with mining games crafts and dramatics plus a daily 9:15 to 11:30 schedule five days a week in Koehler Hall.
