Plymouth 4-H Rally Day Honors New Officers
Plymouth 4-H held its annual rally day at the Le Mars grounds on Saturday May 4 featuring officer elections Mrs Eva Lund attended as extension home economist and presided with vice president Rae Becker Others elected include Jane Gabel president Sandra Beaulieu vice president Edythe McDougall secretary and Marcella Konpp historian About 350 members attendees heard speech contests with Sonja Hat junior division winner and Marion Harpenau senior division winner, plus Better Groomed winner Charlene Taylor and Marcia Myson. The program featured a cadet band and a junior band performing pieces by Courtney von Suppe and solos by Jerry Zinn Pamela Parkinson Gerald Klemme. A noon picnic was served and organizers hoped for a strong turnout.
