Clarence Bergen Fimera died at his home in Granville Saturday after a heart attack last week. Funeral services were Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in CiVille with Rev. Nicholas Becker officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery under Pisch Funeral Home of Remsen. He was born December 10, 1909 in Granville and married Lorene Kokeng on November 11, 1940. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Reinhard Fischer Shot To Death In Le Mars Home
Reinhard Fischer, aged 66, of Le Mars died of a shotgun wound to the head Wednesday morning. Coroner H. Luken said Fischer apparently placed the muzzle in his mouth and pushed a trigger, one barrel discharging as he stood in the basement of his new home at 109 3th St. N. W. He was born October 23, 1880 in Germany and came to the United States in 1893. Survivors include his wife Sophia, two sons Elmer and Herman, two daughters Henriette Rubbert and Lorna Fischer, and nine grandchildren. Burial is planned at the city cemetery after funeral May 4 at 2 p.m. at Mauer funeral chapel. He was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran church.

Funeral services for James Edgar 70 who died Monday at his Marcus home were held Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Marcus with Rev. George Pimlott officiating. Burial was in the Marcus Amherst cemetery. Born in Belfast Ireland November 6 1885 he farmed north of Marcus before retiring 72 years ago and had lived in the community for 32 years. Survivors are his widow Annie and two daughters Mrs Ben Radcliffe of Marcus and Mrs Olive Miller of Cleghorn.
