Girl Bitten By A Dog Near Franklin School

A year old girl, Cheryl Baach, student at Franklin school, was bitten on her leg by a cream colored dog with light brown markings while walking home for lunch between the school and 521 7th St. The skin was broken in three places and bruised. Police were alerted but the dog had left by the time officers could respond.

Election Date Awaits Ruling on District Voting Status

County Attorney William Sturges asked the attorney general to rule on Liberty Consolidated School district voters in the upcoming Le Mars Merrill district election. Liberty voters may vote despite beliefs they no longer operate. Infant Moon Dies Soon After Birth in Sioux City

The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Gradon A Moon of Sioux City died 14 hours after birth at a local hospital on Monday. Graveside services were held Tuesday at Memorial Cemetery with Rev C A' Gnel quist officiating. Surviving are the parents, paternal grandparents Gradon D Moon, and maternal grandparents Vr and Mrs William Werth of Le Mars, who reside near Neptune. Mrs Moon was formerly Nancy Werth.

W Vradenburg 82 former Plymouth county resident died recently at St Clout Winn er Vradenburg born June 28 1876 Elk Point. He moved to Minnesota after marrying Catherine Phillips of Akron. Former Benton county deputy sheriff. Mrs Vradenburg died February 19 1956. Two sons Brady Mineral Wells Texas and PJ Miami Florida. Burial was at Tressom Calvary Cemetery in Slow City.
