No Grazing Allowed On Govt. Land Extended Deadlines
Plymouth County ASC received official notice Thursday evening that the final date to sign or cancel their acreage reserve agreement has been extended from July 20 to July 27, 1956, and the date to dispose of corn to August 3, 1956. Many telephone calls and letters are coming to the ASC office regarding grazing of acreage.

Elevator and warehouse plan for 60 000 bushels grain
J J Killeas built on Highway 75. A 60 000 bushel capacity elevator will be filled first. Farmers deliver to the elevator and Mr. Gilmore will truck grain to a warehouse. The adjacent 90 000 bushel corn warehouse remains full. Gilmore worries over government corn eligibility for resealing in 1953 but will be ready if more corn arrives.

Farm Bureau Young People On A Bus Tour
Two busloads of Farm Bureau young people left Des Moines on Monday July 23 for a two week northeastern tour. Stops include Niagara Falls New York City Boston Augusta Quebec Montreal and the final days at the Midwest Farm Bureau Young People's Camp near Chatham Michigan. There were 76 reservations including four Plymouth County Rural Youth members. the group travels by Greyhound buses. Reverend W N Fulcomer from Pinellas Park Florida visited the tour group at the Bender home in Denison before returning home with his wife Monday July 23.
