DES MOINES Iowa July 23 Colonel Ro A Lancaster State Director outlined registration requirements under the Selective Service Act. Every male citizen and alien aged 18 to 26 must register with the local board with five day post 18th birthday window noted. The filing is a continuing obligation and failure risks fines up to 10000 dollars or five years imprisonment. If a registrant moves they must inform the local board. records are transferred to the jurisdiction of residence.
