Summer wedding at St Joseph’s Ellendale joins Younger and Harbeckh

Miss Joan Theresa Younger and Lugene Lo Harkch wed in a matin ceremony at St Joseph’s Ellendale. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Yoerger of Merrit, wore pale blue taffeta with a tucked bodice. the groom, son of Mr and Mrs O L Harbeckh of Sioux City, wore formal attire. The event included a double ring ceremony, reception for 60, and a four tier cake. The bride will teach in Holly Springs after graduating Briar Cliff College. the groom works at Sunshine Food Market in Sioux City.

Hinton School Vote Set for July 14 in Plymouth County

The Plymouth County Superintendent calls a special election to decide if the Hinton Community School District will be established. Mrs Alfred Sitzman Injured In Car Flops Into Ditch

Mrs Alfred Sitzman of Hinton was injured when her 1953 Plymouth Foreder collided with a northbound 1959 International gas truck on Highway 75, veered into a ditch, and overturned south of Leeds. She and passenger Mrs Livman suffered head injuries and shock. the car was demolished and towed.
