Miss Joan Theresa Younger and Lugene Lo Harkch wed in a matin ceremony at St Joseph’s Ellendale. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Yoerger of Merrit, wore pale blue taffeta with a tucked bodice. the groom, son of Mr and Mrs O L Harbeckh of Sioux City, wore formal attire. Mrs Alfred Sitzman of Hinton was injured when her 1953 Plymouth Foreder collided with a northbound 1959 International gas truck on Highway 75, veered into a ditch, and overturned south of Leeds. She and passenger Mrs Livman suffered head injuries and shock. the car was demolished and towed.
