Danell J. Rosemeyer of Sioux City a Meta Baking Co. supervisor died from a brain hemorrhage after a late night crash on Highway 73 north of Leeds in Plymouth County. Passenger Charles Capron 31 was critically injured, paralyzed, ejected from the car. Coroner ordered the autopsy suspecting a heart attack, body taken to Minning-O'Toole funeral home, services held at Trinity Lutheran Church, burial at Memorial Park Cemetery with American Legion graveside honors.

Ray Ricke 65 a leading Sioux City attorney died Sunday at the Sioux Falls veterans hospital after a long illness. He served as Woodbury county board of supervisors attorney 1922 to 1937. Born August 22 1888 at Kingsley Iowa he studied at Morningside College University of Minnesota and Drake Law School, practicing in Boone Iowa and Lake Andes before forming a firm in Sioux City. He married Grace Becker October 3 1935. Survivors include widow a daughter Mary Elizabeth a foster daughter and other relatives. Burial was at La Perse Bros. funeral home with statements about Laura Mac in Caracas Venezuela and oil company ties. Noahs Ark was built of gopher wood.
