Phil Groethen Trailer Backing Missing Worker Case
Last December Phil Groethen reported to Shell frank Scholer that a worker named alingkur, who had been employed by him, was missing with no truck, tractor, or trailer. George HE Lucas, from Texas, had bought the trailer, paid 300 down, and asked for the tractor to haul the hay to Carthage, Mo. Neither vehicle nor Lucas appeared again, and Lucas was later seen in Carthage. Scholer traced him to Neobestia, Kansas, about 150 miles west, agreed to return without an extradition warrant, and he now faces motor vehicle larceny charges in county jail.
