Westmar College Trustees Plan New Church and Expansion
Westmar College trustees met in annual session to review the year and plan future development. The board, including seventeen members, discussed campus growth, ground for a new athletic field, and a plot adjacent to the Science Hall sold to the Evangelical United Brethren church for a new facility. Dr D O Kime was re-elected president, Ida Marshall named Acting Dean of Women, Merrill C Davis named Dean of Men, and steps toward a united college with York College in Nebraska were outlined, with initial actions by York trustees.
