Mother's Day Dinner and Presbyterian Women Meetings
Mothers and families gathered for a Mother’s Day dinner hosted by Mrs. Ruth Robertson with Calvin Robertson and others from Akron. United Presbyterian Women held Tuesday meetings with three study groups at members’ homes and at the church, including coordinators Mrs. Garrett Kempers and Mrs. Barney Miller guiding Bible studies and a 1:30 am luncheon. Coffee hours followed each session and attendees included Mrs. Melvin Kanago, Mrs. William Merritt, and Miss Eleanor DuBois among others.
