Farm Bureau Women Plan Mental Health Tour May Twenty Eight
Plymouth County Farm Bureau women meet at the Farm Bureau meeting room May 6 with plans for a May 28 tour of the Cherokee Mental Health Institute. Mrs. Harlen Rowe, county chair, starts the agenda, while other items include the Rowe contest, district and state contests, and the Friendship weekend. Youth programs, scholarships, and the flag staff project are discussed along with a Plymouth County Fair booth and organizational tea for September 3.

Life's End James Keil killed in car accident
James Vincent Keil of Thompson, Town, died May 9 in a car accident thirty miles southwest of Thompson. The crash happened in a washout on a gravel road after heavy rainfall. Funeral services were held.
