First Adult Electronics Class Begins at Vocational Building
Members of the first adult electronics class met Wednesday evening funded by the National Defense Training Act. Sixty-two men registered from electric power firms and utilities. The initial class of 20 meets weekly for three hours over three years, with two more fall sessions planned. Instructor is Clayton Linscheid from Wissmar College. New Hairstylist Joins Tyler Stylist Salon
Mrs. Jerry Rann begins work Monday as a new hairstylist at Tyler Stylist Salon in Tyler, after graduating from Stewarts School of Hairstyling in Sioux City and a year at Stewart's salon. She hails from Maurice and is a 1961 Maurice-Orange City high school graduate. Her husband, a 1960 Le Mars Community high school graduate, works at Grotewold Chevrolet. The couple plans to move to Le Mars from Sioux City around June 1.

Rotary sponsors the annual car safety check in Le Mars next week on May 14 and 15 from 12 30 to 5 30 p m each day. Airman Lanners Reassigned for Technical Training

John Willer 66 of route 3 Le Mars died unexpectedly Thursday at his Brunsville farm home. Funeral arrangements by Maurer’s Funeral Home are pending. Born March 16 1897 in Keystone Iowa he lived in Plymouth County since childhood and operated the Brunsville farm since 1926.
