Funeral services for Al Meis 66 owner of Good Morning Mills Le Mars were held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St James Catholic Church with Rev L J LaVelle officiating. Pallbearers were four sons and two sons in law Mark Larry Richard and David Meeis of Le Mars and Nicholas Scalion add James Rawley of Marshalltown. Grandsons served as altar boys. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery under Wittgen-Luedke funeral home direction. Alphons F Meis died Tuesday at Sacred Hearts Hospital after months of illness.
