Car Skids Into Utility Pole After Snowy Morning Crash
In Le Mars on Tuesday morning a two vehicle skid caused a single car to strike a utility pole on slick streets. Gary E. Cook, 17, of 404 First Ave. SW, was northbound in a 1962 Ford on Fourth Ave. SE near Sixth St. SE when the vehicle fishtailed, striking the pole and causing about 125 dollars in damage. Police Capt. Gerald Zimmerman investigated.
