Auto Accident Ditch Crash Injures Four in Guthrie County
A four aboard a car enroute from Bagley to Astoria Ill crashed on George Keen hill. The rear seat occupants were thrown from the vehicle with minor injuries. James Gardner driver suffered chest injuries and J C Danner was badly cut. Danner required 32 stitches and danger to his eyes. Others involved include Ray Ingham and local residents. Richards plans to move to Bangor Maine next week with his family after selling his residence and barber business to Chas Harvey and disposing of household goods at a sale Tuesday afternoon He will attend Bangor Theological Seminary for a two year course with the ministry as his goal The town regrets parting with him but wishes the family well and hopes for letters from Yankeeland to be shared by the Reporter

Death of Malinda Alsvig Near Dillon at Age 56
Malinda Alsvig died of heart failure at 7 p.m. Monday at her brother Bert Alsvig’s home two tiles southeast of Dillon. Born March 16 1888 near Stavanger Norway, she emigrated to America in 1879 and lived on a farm in Benton County before moving to Illinois and then with her brother near Dillon. Survived by her mother Mrs. Alsvig of Newark Illinois and three sisters Mrs. Martin Knewlson Newark, Mrs. Martin Brevick Sheridan Illinois, and Mrs. M. Huseboe near LeGrand. Funeral Thursday at Stavanger church with a 1:30 prayer service at Rising home. burial in Stavanger cemetery.
