Stadium costs spark pay proposal for Cameron Lawton facility
Cameron aathletic department faces a costly burden at Roosevelt stadium with annual expenses running into thousands. A new pay proposal to be reviewed by Lawton Board of Education would involve Cameron paying for stadium maintenance and a share of concessions, with talks considering a flat fee or a percentage of gate receipts to fund operations. The plan aims to resolve funding fairness as Cameron’s football team gains attendance and the school system plans to transfer concession control to Lawton officials.
