KDOT outlines SLT westside interchange plan for Lawrence
Kansas Department of Transportation engineers revealed detailed designs for a $17 million interchange at Bob Billings Parkway and the South Lawrence Trafficway in west Lawrence. The plan features a six lane bridge with two left turn lanes, traffic signals at the ends, bike lanes and sidewalks, a rebuilt bike path, and a westward extension of Bob Billings Parkway tying into North 1500 Road, with safety improvements central to the project slated for completion around 2015.

KU establishes central office for harassment reports
