One Dead In U S 24 Single Vehicle Crash North Of Lawrence
A single vehicle struck a power pole on U S Highway 24 near mile marker 389, north of Lawrence. One person died at the scene and the highway remained closed as Westar crews prepared to replace the pole and authorities conducted the crash investigation.
