Man on trial in Douglas County for Moulton death
Ronald Eugene Heskett, 49, of Eudora, is charged with first degree murder in the death of Vance Moulton, 65, of Lawrence. In a police interview shown to jurors, Heskett described Moulton as a country music lover and sports enthusiast who died from apparent toweled asphyxiation at the Prairie Ridge apartment on September 12, 2014, after Heskett found him dead and reported a suicide.
