No new trial ordered for Sandusky on abuse convictions
A Pennsylvania appeals court ruled unanimously that former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky should not receive a new trial. The ruling upheld his 30 to 60 year prison sentence for sexually abusing 10 boys, and the panel said trial delays and a jury instruction issue did not warrant reversal. Sandusky, 69, remains imprisoned in southwestern Pennsylvania.
