Also Friday and today Lawrence Police logged five collisions with two injuries in one incident. Kent M. McGregor 24 and Patricia McGregor 20, both of 231 Ill., were hurt when McGregor’s motorcycle hit a car at 2:42 p.m. near 12th and Tennessee. driver Linda L. Finfrock 24, Rt. 2, was involved.

96 H S Seniors Compete for KU Scholarships
Ninety six Kansas high school seniors will visit Kansas University to compete for the Summerfield scholarships for men and Watkins-Berger scholarships for women. Awards are merit based and may range from a small stipend to full need-based support. Sixty men and 27 women take tests and interviews Monday and Tuesday with afternoons for campus tours. Winners likely announced in February.
