Melvin Channe spent several days at Arch Meinke's home. A sizable group from the area attended the funeral of Mrs Collins of Linwood Thursday afternoon. Mrs Collins was the mother of Mrs.
Howard Quinlan of this neighborhood. Sympathy is extended to the family. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Hughey attended Eastern Star meeting at Lansing Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Douglas and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Douglas, Mrs. Anna Tomeden, Herbert and Selma, Herbert Moore and Mr. and Mrs. William Torneden and gon. William spent Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Davidson. Quite a crowd from here attended the grade school commencement at Linwood Friday evening. Thirty three received diplomas. Orville Hughey spent several days in Leavenworth, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dauberman and family of Lawrence and Mrs. Stevenson were Tuesday supper guests of Mrs. Dollie Hill.
