Cade's battle with cancer inspires family motto and school support
Cancer Cade endured 1176 days of treatment including 32 lumbar punctures and four blood transfusions while battling cancer. His family and classmates rallied around him with a germ free home life, hospital visits to Children’s Mercy, and a wave of school support as his last day approached on April 6 with superhero shirts in his honor.
