Former Kansas University football coach Gwinn Henry died in Albuquerque New Mexico after a long illness and will be buried in Brownwood Texas. He coached at Missouri 1923 1931 Kansas 1938 1942 and New Mexico 1934 1936 with notable upsets including Nebraska and Notre Dame era. Survived by widow Amy Henry son Gwinn Henry II Albuquerque daughter Mrs Jack Nessley Belle Plaine Kansas and sister Miss Rett Henry Eden Texas. He was a Baptist and Mason.

Two Charged in Forgery Case in Medara County
In Medara California two young men face formal forgery charges in County Court. Dubert L. Bond age 16 has a preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. May 25.
