Ungrateful plane damages car at Scott City airport
Bruce Emberton of Springfield, Missouri, whose Beechcraft Bonanza would not start, had a friend pull alongside to boost the plane. When the engine finally fired, the parking brake slipped, the plane wheeled, striking the car with a wing and ripping the right side with the propeller. Damages were about 2000 dollars to the airplane and 1500 dollars to the car.
