Kansas lands 4 star safety Damani Maxson in 2024 class
Damani Maxson of Clear Lake High in Houston commits to Kansas on Father's Day, joining cornerback Jalen Todd as top players in KU's 2024 class. Maxson, who held offers from Arizona State and Georgia, praised KU's upward trajectory and family-connected recruitment as Lawrence hosted more visitors. Kansas also secured lineman Rene Anene after a Lawrence visit, with three star rating from 247Sports and a path to the Jayhawks' future offensive line. The program awaits six more decisions from visiting prospects over the next weekend.
