Julie Glass sails through a world campus aboard Ryndam
Julie Glass 20 daughter of Mr and Mrs Travis Glass spent the second semester of her sophomore year aboard Holland America’s Ryndam as part of Chapman College Seven Seas School. The voyage carried 431 students from Los Angeles to Central and South American ports then on to Europe before returning to New York. Courses totaled about 10 liberal arts hours while in port weeks allowed exploration and cultural activities. Julie found the experience bonded students and enriched learning through ports like Lisbon Paris Brussels and Versailles. She plans to return to Kansas University this fall and help recruit new sailors for Chapman’s program.
