Free State and Lawrence High to get turf upgrades
Eight athletic facilities in the Free State and Lawrence districts will receive new artificial turf totaling 4.57 million dollars. The project covers football soccer baseball and softball fields at both high schools with an eight year warranty and aims to improve drainage reduce maintenance costs and extend play life. Turf replacements will be staggered to avoid disrupting seasons with completion expected by late August.
