Cleveland june 11 landon managers decided after a one sided defeat in the resolutions subcommittee not to press the minimum wage constitutional amendment further. The subcommittee had drafted a compromise platform without the amendment sought by Governor Alf M Landon of Kansas and after telephone talks with London in Topeka the decision was made not to carry the issue to the full committee. The move clears one obstacle to presenting the platform at the convention though the full resolutions committee faced hours of work and may not report before tonight's session.

State oil well near governor's mansion hits pay level
A state oil well in Oklahoma City was completed on state property near the governor's mansion. Tragic Death Of Four Year Old From Accidental Gunshot
Rennie Ireland Jr. aged four was killed by a .32 caliber pistol taken from a car belonging to R W Poillon. The coroner ruled accidental. Posey explained the halos form from sun rays refracted and reflected through ice crystals in high clouds, a 22 and 46 degree phenomenon.
