City mulls naming eastside park after fire chief McSwain
Lawrence officials consider naming the park at 19th Street and Haskell Avenue after the late fire chief Jim McSwain who led the department from 1978 to 2005. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will hear from the McSwain family before recommending to the City Commission.
