Baldwin High teen recovers from stroke with family support
Molly Ogden, a Baldwin City High School student, suffered a large stroke at 16 affecting speech. Her family and community including 4-H, church, and Stroke Council organized fundraisers and rides to therapy. Doctors say recovery is possible but speech may be limited. she attends school part time and undergoes ongoing therapy while a broader awareness campaign highlights stroke risks in youth.
