Battle at Dak To and Ben Het Monsoon Clash Ends
The two month test battle between South and North Vietnamese forces around Dak To and Ben Het ended amid heavy rain and mud. U S observers say South Vietnamese troops performed despite no American infantry, aided by air power artillery and logistics from U S forces.
