Local Campers Do Thing At Osawatomie Jamboree
Lawrence Kansas campers from the Jayhawkers attended the John Brown Jamboree in Osawatomie last weekend. About 200 units housed 800 people at John Brown Memorial Park with free camping and entertainment. John Bennett led the Osawatomie Chamber effort and Bessie Morlan registered campers. many Lawrence families attended. Next Jayhawkers gathering is planned July 10 11 at Perry Paradise Point area.
