Helen Marie Krische 60 of Lawrence died January 22 2011 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital A Memorial Mass is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at St Lawrence Catholic Campus Center Lawrence with interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery She was born June 5 1950 in Maryville Missouri and earned anthropology degrees from Kansas University She worked as an archivist exhibit coordinator and curator at the Douglas County Historical Society Watkins Museum and was a DAR member Survived by partner Rodger Dee two daughters Jessica Krische Dee Sahra Louise Dee a son Kate Tsosie Dee a sister Ramona Henderson and two grandsons Memorials may be made to the Lawrence Humane Society through Warren McElwain Mortuary Condolences at warrenmcelwain.com.

Clyde Harold Stuntz 91 of Greene died January 17 2011 at Via Christe Omaha Funeral held January 22 at United Methodist Church Greene He was born July 11 1919 in Greene Iowa son of Harold and Margaret Stuntz He grew dairy industry degree from Iowa State University and played on the dairy judging team traveling to Toronto October 1941 He managed Greene Cooperative Creamery then raised turkeys on the family farm for over 50 years He served on United Methodist board Waterloo Production Credit board and Greene School Board Helped install grass greens at Round Grove Golf Club An avid golfer he won the club championship several times He and his wife Esther Fern Newcomer married December 20 1942 in Iowa City Survived by daughters Martha Campbell and Linda Backer sons Wendell and Richard with spouses 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren
