Coalition pushes liquor law changes in Kansas
A broad coalition including Walmart Hy-Vee and QuikTrip seeks to loosen Kansas rules on alcohol sales. Opponents from liquor stores challenge those figures saying gains are overstated and favor large chains over small businesses. The bill would also allow liquor stores to sell non alcohol items such as food and gas. current number of liquor stores is 766.
