Blue Valley students build calming chairs for autistic kids
In Overland Park Kansas CAPS students from Blue Valley School District designed and built affordable deep pressure white chairs using a papasan base air bags a pool noodle and a pump to calm autistic children. Tested at Timber Creek Elementary the prototype calms melt downs and gains interest for homes clinics and schools.
