Impeachment Trial Adjourned As Week Ends

Topeka January 26 AP The impeachment trial of Roland Boynton state attorney general was in week end adjournment with no indications on how many days needed to complete proceedings when resumed Monday. Separate action delayed the date for Wil l J. French state auditor’s trial until Thursday next week. Articles of impeachment stem from the Kansas bogus bond scandal centering on Ronald Finney. Defense witnesses said they never instructed to favor Finney. Witnesses described past guidance from local attorneys and noted prior investigations were not re-registered or followed up.
