Youth Crisis Center Nears Start in Douglas County
Bert Nash expands child mental health care with a planned youth recovery center at 3500 Clinton Place in Lawrence. The project adds overnight stays for ages 6 to 17, integrates with the TRC of Douglas County, partners with O Connell Children’s Shelter, and will be funded by a 250000 dollar Kansas grant to hire a director and a program manager.
