Centennial Skate Park Expansion Nears Completion
Construction on a 250000 expansion at Centennial Skate Park is nearing completion in Lawrence. Parks and Recreation assistant director Mark Hecker said work started in mid November and should finish concrete by the next week with ongoing site work into 2024. Project manager Ben Hlavacek praised cooperation from the city and favorable December weather aiding progress.
