Minor injuries in two midweek city crashes
Two pedestrians and drivers sustained minor injuries in traffic incidents Wednesday afternoon and evening in the city. Joe P. In the central highlands near the Cambodian border 230 miles north of Saigon, three U S infantry battalions endured heavy assault as Operation Sam Houston unfolded. Carruthers, owner of Dale's AG Grocery and Market, received the Distinguished Service Award for civic contributions. Brecheisen, of the F.O.B. assembly plant in Kansas City, was named Key Man of the Year for his Jaycee leadership. LaMonte Lauridsen serves as Baldwin Jaycees president.
