Los Angeles February 13 AP District Attorney Aga Keyes stated William Edward Hickman, killer of Marian Parker, may be tried and hanged on a separate murder charge before the Parker case is resolved. Hickman, declared sane by a jury last week, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the Parker slaying and to the Christmas Eve 1926 holdup murder of Cleby Thoms with Welby Hurt. The Thoms trial begins Wednesday. if Hickman is found sane and guilty without mercy, he would face the gallows. Hickman plans to testify against accomplice Welby Hunt. He will be in court tomorrow as his lawyers seek a new trial. if denied, proceedings continue before Judge J. J. Trabucco.
