Escape, burglary loot recovered in Gibbs case from Eads
A large part of the loot taken in the Gibbs clothing company burglary was recovered with the arrest at Eads Colorado Friday night of an ex convict who later escaped from jail there. Sheriff Dunkley Chief Cummings and others raced to Eads and returned by train after a motor trip. Police say several suits and other clothing were found. Two other men are being held by Eads officers and Lawrence prints are being compared. The return journey featured a car breakdown near Hays.
