Douglas County commission ers postponed final approval of their 1978 revenue sharing allocations. The county will receive 432,807 in federal revenue sharing next year with 182,872 requested by local service groups. Ernest Coleman urged about 123,000 be approved, the rest for capital projects. Tower work resumes on 180-foot Douglas tower
The 180-foot communications tower foundation at the Douglas County Judicial and Law Enforcement Center is being reworked after earlier soil and material issues. Three foundation holes were planned with concrete, two already dug while the first filled with mud and debris. The tower components arrived last Monday and will be assembled next month once the foundation cures.
