Smoky bear cub rescued from Montana wildfires
Joe Jacquith, state wildlife warden, rescued a 20 pound injured Smoky bear cub in Montana. The cub, found in Bitterroot Valley, bears burns on all four paws and is being treated before eventual release back to the wild. Fires across eight Western states scorched about 1.3 million acres, with Bitterroot the worst zone and Toston fire a major challenge for crews.
