San Marino Votes To Keep Communist Rule Four More Years
San Marino, a 1600 year old republic in the Apennines inside Italy, reaffirms Communist rule for four more years after a decisive election. Supporters claim a strong system and the party’s long-entrenched structure, while opponents in the United States failed to sway expatriates in Detroit New York and Sandusky. The election saw Reds and Socialists win across all 13 polling places aided by mobilized labor and transit aid for returning sympathizers. Former residents who remain citizens could vote under local law, shaping the outcome.
