Rescue Fire Burns Two on Poorly Held Avion Home
Allyn Boughton escaped a burning home at 2127 Barker Avenue while his son Charles Bougton, recently discharged from the aviation service, was badly burned saving him from a rear fire started by an overheated chicken brooder. The blaze caused $1500 in damage to the house and $200 in contents, with a two mile fire truck run and the upper floor severely damaged. Charles was treated at G. W. Jones Hospital and is reported comfortable.
