Two arrested in sex crime probe in Lawrence area
A 33-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman living in eastern Lawrence were arrested Saturday on suspicion of aggravated human trafficking involving a person under 18, contributing to a child's misconduct, and child endangerment. The man faced additional charges of rape with a defenseless victim and the woman of sexual battery. both were released later Monday with no charges filed yet.
