County unit road plan filibuster gains petition support
A petition for establishing the county unit system of road maintenance in Douglas County has been filed with County Clerk C. O. Bowman. If adopted the county would run state and federal highways and township roads with a blanket levy while township funds would stay in their origin townships unless a remonstrance delays action.
