Wichita April 16 AP federal agents and police traced a truck loaded with sugar to a farm five miles southwest of Rago Kansas in Kingman county where four alleged operators were arrested after Brice Armstrong a prohibition agent rode atop a moving truck to the hideout. The farm yielded 15 000 gallons of mash and 300 gallons of whisky police said.

Washington April 16 AP Stocks of wheat on farms on April 1 stood at 114,983,000 bushels, up from 102,852,000 a year earlier. The March disappearance was 45,299,000 bushels, the largest in six years, vs 27,402,000 last year. A debonair bandit wearing a black derby hat and a younger companion robbed C. C. Smith, 343 near Midland on Highway 73 W around 8 30 PM. Staged gun battle in Bowling Green ends in deaths
In Bowling Green Ohio police fought a staged gun battle with two men and two women. Charles Saunders a 20 year old from St. Louis died.
